CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:

Construction Crew Members

Statewide Aquastore, Inc. is seeking Construction Crew Members to assemble bolted steel liquid storage tanks. Weekly travel throughout New York, northern Pennsylvania and the New England required.  Travel between Monday to Friday only in company work trucks. All lodging expenses paid and a per diem meal allowance offered when traveling.

Construction crew members can earn $60K to $100K+ yearly. Compensation begins at $23.10/hour up to $34/hour for private construction projects and based on experience. For public, prevailing wage projects, compensation rates will depend on the project location. Prevailing wages are substantially higher than base pay. Medical insurance, year-end profit sharing, and 401(k) plans available upon eligibility.

Must be an energetic team player and have a good work ethic. Ability to work in varying conditions with ladders, scaffolding, manlifts and at various working heights. Ability to lift and/or handle materials weighing up to 50lbs and operate a variety of hand and power tools. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment substance test.

Experience working with concrete, general construction, and Skid-Steer operation preferred but not necessary; on-the-job training provided.

TANK BUILDERS

Our Texas Aquastore dealership constructs water storage and wastewater treatment plants in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, and Southern Nevada. Our Florida Aquastore territory includes Florida, the Caribbean, and Central/South America. Due to the international nature of Florida Aquastore’s work, we prefer that our builders have a valid US Passport and the ability to travel out of the country for up to four weeks at a time.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Concrete experience is preferred

  • Heavy Equipment experience is preferred

  • Must be willing to travel

  • Must be available to work weekends

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, CDL a plus

  • Ability to obtain a passport and be available to travel internationally if needed is preferred

WORKING SUPERINTENDENT POSITION

Working Superintendent Job Purpose:
The Superintendent will be trained by Florida Aquastore’s Master Builders’ to build Aquastore storage tanks and lead tank construction crews on sites throughout our entire territory.  The Superintendent’s will be responsible for directly managing and assisting with the construction, administrative, and safety activities associated with the field operations of a tank installation.

Working Superintendent Job Duties:
Superintendent responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, bringing the tank construction project to completion on schedule, within budget and per the project specifications.  The Superintendent oversees enforcing all Safety and Quality Control policies and procedures and adhering to and implementing all company policies and regulations.  The Superintendent working with the Warehouse Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the construction crew has the necessary tools and equipment for the assigned project.  The Superintendent will also supervise the maintenance of your assigned company truck, as well all company trailers and equipment.  The Superintendent working with the Project Manager will ensure that the crewmembers timely complete the required job paperwork (i.e., daily logs, expense reports, truck logs, safety reports etc.)

Qualifications: 

  • Prior hands-on work experience in the construction industry; at least 5 years experience managing projects is required.

  • Manage sub-contractors and accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by crew and semi-skilled day labor.

  • Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager and the crew on the job-site to ensure project is completed in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.

  • Communicating with owners, engineers, and subcontractors in connection with field issues and investigating and resolving such issues.

  • Heavy Equipment experience preferred

  • Must be willing to travel within our entire territory (Florida, the Caribbean, Central & South America)

  • Must be available to work weekends, when required to keep schedule

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • We will train/certify qualified candidates, when needed

  • Concrete pouring and finishing experience are a PLUS

  • Valid US Passport

  • Availability to travel internationally

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training is a PLUS

  • Bilingual a Plus
